Originally from the beautiful land of Wales and now living in sunny California, I consider myself very lucky to be able to call both home. Growing up on Fairy Cakes (known more commonly now as Cup Cakes :) and Welsh Cakes (see pic) it was inevitable that I would always have a sweet tooth and a craving for things that remind me of my childhood. I don't claim to be an amazing baker. Just a girl who loves to bake. Through my love of baking I have developed my skills and thanks to many disasters as well as successes I have coined some fool-proof recipes I would love to share with fellow home bakers. I truly hope my visitors enjoy them and find them useful. 

 

You may want to avoid my blog if you came here looking for healthy recipes. I bake with a lot of sugar and a LOT of butter. I believe if you're going to treat yourself then you should go all out or not at all :)
